Q: Do you deliver?
A: Yes. I offer free delivery within a 15 mile radius of Brayton, North
Yorkshire. I charge 20p per mile thereafter. See the ordering page for the area
qualifying for free delivery.
Q: Is a deposit required?
A: Yes. A deposit of 25% of the total order is required.
Q: What do you class as 'standard' shaped cakes?
A: We currently class Square, Round and Hexagonal cakes as standard cakes.
It is possible to have other shaped cakes, but there will be an additional charge
for these.
Q: What is included in the price?
A: All cake prices include marzipan and icing. Additional decorations
(such as sugar flowers and character models),
tier separators, pillars and stands are charged separately.
Q: How much notice is required for a cake order?
A: For wedding cakes, we ideally require three months notice, with one
months notice being required for celebration cakes and novelty cakes. Additional
notice may be required for a novelty cake, depending on the complexity of the design
required.
Q: Can I supply my own cake to be decorated?
A: We will accept fruit cakes, that are to be marzipanned, iced and decorated
by us, a 25% discount will apply to cakes supplied by the customer.
Q: Can I buy sugar flower arrangements or other decorations without purchasing
a cake?
A: Yes. We will be more than happy to custom make any decorations
for you. Sugar flower arrangements start from £35.
